These programs are created for the Microsoft Windows .Net platform 1.1 (or later). This requires Windows 98 or above (not Windows 95, Windows 3.1, etc.) to run. Many recent Windows PCs have the Net platform already installed, or you may already have it on your PC because you've installed another program that required it. If you are unsure, you can download one of the setup programs below and install it. If you don't have the net framework on your PC, the install program will let you know.
If you don't have this version of the net platform on your machine, you may get it by going to this link: Net Framework at Microsoft. The one to download is labelled Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable. You only need to download this once, and then you can run any programs that are here.
To install any of these programs, click on the link to download the zip file. Unzip the file into whatever directory you want. The double click on a file called setup.exe to actually install the file.
The Tarot program lets you do tarot readings and provides descriptions of the cards and card positions. You can also save or print a reading.
The Spanish Hangman program contains a number of games to help you learn Spanish, including Hangman, MasterWord, Jumble Puzzle, and Concentration. It also includes some drills, and 3 sceneMaker canvases allowing you to build different scenes from pieces that are labeled in English and Spanish (like the Flash online versions). You can create your own lessons to add to the program. Additional lessons and SceneMaker scenes may be added in the future, so check back here from time to time.
